[Rumor] Bethesda Looking to Buy Vlave

Unless they offer a really good price, there won't be a Half-Life RPG

Half-Life on the same engine Oblivion and Fallout 3 used?
With the same gameplay?
Same mechanics?

I died a little, after imagining that...

The reasoning here makes little to no sense. The parent company of Bethesda purchased id software after their release of Doom 3, but at that time id was not doing well financially and found that deal would be beneficial for them.

The story is simply not the same here, everyone and their mother knows that Valve is sitting on big fat sacks of cash like beanbag chairs as they work on their new games, which sell like fucking hotcakes.

Anyway, I don't really see how Bethseda and Valve could really mix together. They seem really different from each other, at least to me. Plus I don't see Valve doing all that bad for themselves right now. I'm sure they can survive own their own like they've been doing.

Zenimax is looking to buy Valve, not Bethesda. Zenimax owns Bethesda and Id Software.
