Admin intervation, please, this is killing me.

As many have noticed I have lately been spamming the forums with stupid posts.  I am very sorry for that and I hope this will address that issue.

I currently have a killer load of school work, and my grades have dropped by 3 or 4 points, (just out of suma cum-laude range).  I'm seriously sleep deprived, which further causes me to screw around, make stupid posts, and lose more sleep.  The main reason for this is due to my procrastination, mainly on the Internet, and most importantly to you, on this forum.

By wasting time and taking 4-5 hours to do my homework, instead of 2-3, I'm losing much sleep, and relaxation time (read: TF2. hobbies, reading, SLEEP).  This is not good for me and I'm at such a shitty point in my life where I fell drastic measures must be taken.

I'm going to ask an admin, that if it is possible to unban me, please ban my account for 3 weeks staring today 11/11/08 and ending on 12/02/08.  After this period I will message an admin (please post which admin I should message) and I sincerely ask you that you unban my account.

Under no circumstances should you unban my account before this 3 week detox period is up, no matter how much I plead, beg, or scream.  Like Odysseus crew in Homer's Odyssey, just stuff cotton in your ears and ignore me.

So I am pleading with you admins.  Please ban my account and when I ask you after December second 2008 (12/02/08), and not before, please unban my account.  I hope this will help cure my Internet addiction and allow me to better manage my time to optimize my work and relaxation.


PS. Don't delete this thread so that I can point out why I was banned in cause and admin will not unban me.

I had a few forum addictions. What I generally did was change my password, and my email. I would have to register again - and many forums require a lot of details and stuff, so I didn't even bother.

There's a bigger problem here if you can't just not log on. Besides, you can still look at the site when you're banned or make a new account. This is a ridiculous request and if we were to cater to it then it would reinforce the idea that you can always take the easy way out or have someone do the work for you.

Man up and show some will power. I don't condone this kind of behavior and it's not healthy. Go to your room.

ALSO:  intervention is a great show.

Put your computer out in the cold. And make sure the only time you can use it, you have to be half-naked. And you can only use it for as long as you can stand the cold.

Intervention IS a great show. A woman who is a friend of a friend of a friend here in Charlotte was on it a while back. She worked at a clothing store that my girlfriend used to shop at. From what I've heard she's still sober.
