For Chro how about some dandelions, shrubs and/or venus fly traps? (Maybe that's a little too far up the evolutionary chain but meh, what the hell).

The basic premise is that the players tell the god what to do, and I periodically will take their suggestions and manifest them in a world. So far I have two concepts, first is a there is only one god with complete omnipotence, who builds a universe from the ground up with no particular goal. The second is there are two gods each with their own universe that does not interact (or interacts very little), each with a limited power, who attempts to bring about an advanced enough civillization to build a portal that connects the two universe with intent to conquer the other. Vote on one:
Tally: 1 God: Zero 2 Gods: Everyone
Rules are: each person gives a suggestion to a god of choice. When both gods have at least two suggestions I pick any that isn't obviously bad and post what happens to each. Each god will have a limited amount of energy of various types of energy which they can do things with, initially they can't make anything more complicated than grass, spiders, or small and simple rock formations, but can gain more complicated energy depending on the actions of the beings of the world. There are main islands (about the size of Britain) they vie for control over. Initially they can only control things on their starting island, but their presence can spread to anywhere they have a worshipping civillization.
Right now Gman has a cool, dark, rainy realm and Chro a hot, bright, and dry realm. They both have a very simple ecosystem in place.
Gman's Energy: Creation: [................] Destriction: [................] Cold: [................]
Chro's Energy: Creation: [................] Destriction: [................] Heat: [................]
Wait... wha???? Did I somehow edit Lampard's post by accident!?! EDIT: MarkelJ, venus fly traps and shrubs are a little out of reach, but shrubs should evolve very soon. I'll keep a note that the dandelions are to evolve into venus fly traps.

Very odd occurrence there...

I demand poo flinging howler monkeys for Gman's realm.

I thought they were giraffebabies. D:

If you have three huge islands, why only two gods? It would be a lot more interesting with a third one. You could have a colder, and later on, more mountainous area. consider it.

Colonization. @thread: Give Gman worms...lots of worms...
|
@Supermonkey: Skippy is correct, the point of the center island is to war over. It will be resource rich, have fertile soil, have plenty of mineral deposits, and high quality timber.
@Lampard: That sounds ominous...
Anyways, here is out ecosystems so far:
Gman: Enviorment: Cold, rainy, fertile soil, river and lakes, marshes, unstable ground mostly Flora: Ferns, Shrooms, Algae Fauna: Pill bugs, Crabs, Stag Beetles, Fish, Worms, Dung Beetles
Chro: Enviormnet: Hot, dry, sandy, plains, oasis Flora: Grass, Dandelions, Small Spiky Shrub-like things Fauna: Ants, Cyclops, Proto-Lizzard, Flies
At the end of the day I'll fast forward a billion years about, around that time we'll see how the evolution of our creatures are going and select one for later civillization, so if you have any suggestions for creatures or enviorment you'll have until then. I'll also add some more energies depending on the state of each enviorment and creature selected for civillization. Since each god will have accumulated some energy by then, they will be allowed use some godly powers if they feel so.
