1. In general, who lives for the longest in competitive TF2 out of the 4 base classes?

2. On average, how many ubers does a good medic get per life?

3. When the medic gets killed and respawns, how does he get back to his team safely?

Thanks, Toxic.

1. Depends on the scenario and what continent you're playing in. In Europe the Demo usually lives longest because they tank him, in NA it's probably the soldiers because the stick around they medic the most and medics in NA don't really tank the demos like they do in Europe.

2. Depends on the medics team and the medic himself.

3. On maps like G-pit usually someone(usually a soldier) goes back to escort the Medic back to safety. On Push maps usually if the medic goes down the rest of the team retreats and goes back a CP.

Okay thanks so the medic will usually die before the sollies/demo? Also, when the enemy scouts attack the medic, do they usually kill him or do the medics team mates usually fend the scouts off?

It depends really, it's all situational. Remember a Medic is only as good as his Soldiers. If your scouts die quickly by the other scouts then your medic is more in danger of dying and you might want to consider withdrawing from the middle fight.

If your Soldiers die quickly, your Medic is much more vulnerable to the teams opposing scouts. If your demo dies quickly then your more adverse to being twoshotted or spammed to death because of the territorial loss that comes with your Demoman dying. But once again it all depends on the situation.

generally its the medic.....and when a med dies, the pocket is probably also dead and will escort you back, unless you get picked off by spam or good scouts

I'd say the medic, if not then the pocket soldier.

2. On average, how many ubers does a good medic get per life?
That entirely depends on who is protecting the medic, who the opponents are, and how aggressively you are building uber.

3. When the medic gets killed and respawns, how does he get back to his team safely?

Usually when people die and are being waited for, they call out when they are spawning for example "up in 3."  How he gets back to the team safely depends on if there is someone spawn camping.  Usually spawns are behind your team's line so you shouldnt have to worry about encountering anyone...that is, unless no one is watching the flank and a scout got by your teamates.  It is really up to the scouts to ensure that no one gets behind your lines.

Okay cool. I was just wondering about the spawning thing after seeing a clip where Justin was waiting outside the spawn, medic comes out and gets two shotted immediately. Maybe that was just a lucky, one-off type thing.

people will try to do that, but as i said if your team is letting scouts get to your spawn then you have bigger problems to worry about.  I bet justin had to kill a scout or two to get that position on the medic.

Spawnkills like that don't happen often. They do, just not very often. If a scout finds a crack in the enemies defences, they will try to exploit it for all it is worth. Ninjacaps are actually suprosingly common. Teams get too aggresive, they take down 3 or 4 but forget to leave someone back, or they only leave a demo back and he gets raped by a scout.

On average on most comp maps unless one team is totally rolling the other I usually see a medic get around 2 ubers off before he's either picked or he gets taken by the other uber. It can really differ with different teams though.
