Am I the only one who uses the Bat more than the Scatter-Gun?

I use the Bat practically all the time when I'm playing Scout.
I'm even starting to think it's kinda OP, as against a moderately skilled team I can get a solid K using the Bat only.
Anybody else who's become good friends with a little something called "Aluminum Death"?

yeah man use it all the time i just left click and like practically 1/2 enemy dies

The bat is one of the worst weapons. It takes 10 bat hits but only 3-4 scatters to kill a heavy at melee range.

i really should use the bat, because my scattergun aim sucks really hard
but scatter does more damage melee range than your actual melee weapon

Yes, you are the only person alive to use the bat more than the gun.

If that sentence doesn't say anything to you, I uh....don't know what to say.  Bat vs. Gun, who wins?  Learn to aim?

LOL, Twilight Mage is one of rudest, most spammiest members we have, and I get something said to me?  I don't talk unless I have something to say.  Unlike.....

And I will stand by my opinion; The scattergun is almost ALWAYS better than the bat.  Period.  If you killed someone with the bat, guess what?  The scattergun could have done it better, and more efficiently.

It truly doesn't matter though, as it comes down to opinion and play-style.  But, never ever ever say the bat is better than the scattergun.

I've started to use it more and more often
but I still love the scattergun

Both are very fun and useful.
