An Update On The State of TF2F

Hi all, I just wanted to chime in and let everybody know how much I appreciate your patience with the website lately.  It might not seem like it now, but I've put a lot of thought into where things are going with TF2F.  Even though it's not a big money maker, I've got a responsiblity to provide you, the loyal visitors, a worthy place to come and chat about games, hang out, and god knows what else :-).  Even as some of you have moved on to other games you've continued to stick around and socialize here and I think that really says something.

So for the last 6 weeks we've stopped update the current codebase and have been working on a brand new version of the website with a focus on being ultra fast and ultra expandable.  The new site's intent is not just maintaining, but growing the community going forward.  As users inevitably move on to some of the other great games that are coming out, we don't want you to feel the need to have to search out a new community.  We want to give you everything you want right here.

In the coming days and weeks, I'll be giving out more specifics on what changes are coming exactly, but just know that once this new version is out, things that are broken will be fixed, and any bugs that pop up will get immediate attention.

For those that like TF2F just the way it is or if you just generally fear change, don't worry - the original TF2F will still exist pretty much as you know it.  If anything you'll just have to put up with a few more features that you don't have to use if you don't want to.

So the point of this thread is really nothing more than a thank you to everyone that's been putting up with the current state of the site and let you know that I here the complaints and suggestions and they are (hopefully) being going to finally be addressed shortly!
