Apology

I just want to apologize for all the folks involved with the Highlander tonight. I was severely drunk (way too drunk to be on TF2) and I made a complete ass of myself. I certainly hope I can get some bans unbanned. I don't know what the funk I was thinking.

You weren't drunk, don't make excuses.

I don't know if my opinion or thoughts will weigh in on the decision of your unbans, but I believe you were intoxicated; however I don't think this was a huge offense.  I mean, we do have several people who like to play while drinking or totally drunk and most times we just overlook the behavior.  Although on the other hand you were quite loud and vociferous which became utterly annoying to the people ingame trying to play.  While muting solved the problem of hearing brash comments; your inability to stick to the highlander rules and function as a team player became intolerable.  You were given numerous warnings by several squigs and an admin (or two) before having been banned.

I don't know you, I'm sure you are liked by several people of our community and I'd like to see you have a fair chance to redeem yourself in light of the fact that its very difficult to reason with someone who is drunk.  Now that you have been formally warned by a representative of the community during this sober exchange of apology we would expect better conduct while under the influence of alcohol.

To other members of the community:
I'd also like to point out that there were several individuals who took great amusement in provoking this vulgar language and conduct which I don't think is acceptable behavior either.  I admit some things that were said were quite funny however even at the point when we were trying to squelch the unpleasant conduct there were several members of the community trying to keep him riled up.  This too is displeasing.

Isn't there like a casual server, where people don't have to worry about what they say in it, provided by TF2F?

Wendy: I broke the Highlander rules to try to get someone's attention. I ripped the USB port of my headphones out of the laptop and was afraid I had broke them. When no one would respond to my inquiries as to whether or not I could be heard, I figured that would get everyone's attention. Unfortunately, I got banned before I could explain myself. Just to confirm my story, the entire time I was demo, I was just running around our base not killing anyone. And yes, I was provoked, but that does not excuse my uncouthe behavior. I really hope I can get unbanned.

Alright inGin, after speaking with some of the community members, we've decided that it would be alright to lift your ban. You do need to understand that we don't like banning people and give everyone several warnings before we ban and your case was no exception. Anyway, you're unbanned from vent, but I wont be taking silly shit like that again.

Oh, also, to Riley Duo...

Our servers are general very lax about speech and a little friendly jabbing at each other is fine. Being offensive is not. I don't know what your issue is.
