What gun do you use, The normal syringe gun, or the vampire gun?
just wondering because I've started to play medic more often.

I use the Blutslauger. My thought being the option to get health back is way better than the chance of crits. As a medic you shouldn't use your gun that much anyways but using the Blut is a WAY better option imo. I mean, you can extinquish urself and kill a pyro at the same time! Plus you can spy check by shooting a could-be spy, and if you see the +3 he's a spy. Smerbucik wrote an excellent guide about using the blut proactively, ex: shooting a clip into a couple enemies if u know ur gonna take dmg soon. Its somewhere on these forums, I just couldn't find it.

I use the Blutslauger myself. I'd rather have guaranteed returns on my health then the hope of getting lucky with a few crits. When I play medic, my number 1 goal is to stay alive, and having those few points of health might make all the difference as I make my retreat. I use my gun to slow my enemy down enough so I can run away and find a nice Heavy who will kill him for me.

Blutslauger all the way. Using the syringe gun implies you rely on getting critical hits to win 1 on 1 battles, and if you rely on critical hits to win, then a) you're not a good player, and b) You only have a meager 5% chance of scoring a critical hit with the syringe gun, but a 100% change of gaining more health with the blutslauger if you have good aim.

Yeah, I switched to the vamp gun simply for the fact that I only use my weapon if I really have to and the bonus to health really helps me out when I'm fleeing.

Blutslauger every time for all the reasons mentioned above - and it's the perfect weapon for dealing with those pyros that insist on chasing you down.

The regular gun, but only because I don't have the bloodsucker. Lame outdated 360 version.

Blutsauger ftw. I mostly play nocrit, so the advantage is clear.
