Are You Ready? The Official TF2F Clan

Many of you have asked for it and the time has come for us to finally get the clan going, the question is....are you guys ready?
After receiving quite a bit of feedback from our members we have decided to split the clan in two "Units", on one hand you have the clan dedicated for us "For Fun Players" and on the other you have the Competitive Unit, both with separate goals but unified in community. We plenty of ideas for the Fun Unit, but right now I'd like to focus on discussing the Comp Unit.

In a previous meeting between the staff members, we discussed the clan and it's goals and came across one issue, "Who is going to lead the competitive clan?". Well we all came to an agreement that one member stood out in regards to both gaming style and teamwork, that player is Serious Cat. After speaking with Serious about his ideas...let's just say that we are going in the right direction and you competitive players out there will love it. Anyway, I believe that Serious has an important post to make so I will let him take care of that and for you other guys interested in the Fun Unit, keep your eyes open for a future post.

*Edit* Someone asked so I thought I'd add this: Yes, both clans will have separate tags for identification.

I like the two separate Fun and Serious unit idea.
But people outside the TF2F clan are gonna have problems differentiating both though.

Question, will those of us new to the community still be able to join either of these teams, or is this purely for players who have been around for awhile?

And will this be per server? I.e. 6 units?

Since there might not be many people at this time looking for a competitive clan, depeding on the size of the clan and the size of the response for tryouts, how skilled are we going to have to be? I know that though I have improved alot since I got the game less than a week ago, I am still learning alot of the game. I do have interest in a competitive clan becuase it brings me back to when I was in one for CS but will potential count as anything or would we need to continue to try out?
