A stupid question

I'm trying to find, the tf2fort servers, how do you do this?

the I.P.s for the servers are located in the top right hand corner of our site under "TF2 Game Servers" just hit the dropdown link and there you go.


just type in your console "connect ipgoeshere" without the qoutes, add em to your favorites once you connect so you can find em easily.

ya but how do you bring up console? I tried the mapped button, it doesn't work for some reason

you have to go to your options and click enable console. i think its off by default for some reason, stupid.

i dont remember which options menu it is but it should be pretty easy to find if you look. once you do that the mapped button should work. it's ~ i believe.

Also, in the main steam window, there should be a button near the bottom called "Servers" with a picture of a wire globe. (BTW, this is just from memory, I can't access Steam at the moment) In the window that pops up, there should be an option to add a new favourite (or something along those lines). Copy and paste a IP address into the correct field, and it will add the server to your favourites. Then repeat for all the different IPs. I hope this helps (and is mostly accurate)!

Edit: And I believe that you can enable the console in the Keyboard/Controls menu (Again, I don't remember the exact name). There should be a button in there called "Advanced Options". One of the options in the popup will be "Enable Console". Check the corresponding box to enable the console. By default, it is mapped to "~".
