Attention Uber Geeks!!

someone who is a way better programmer than i will ever b should code a utility for server admins that would allow us to view in game action in 2D (i imagine it similar to the HUD you see in CSS when u dead) Just to observe the action without having to actually log into steam...

just a thought...

Run a HLTV server and watch via that.
This can't be done via logs because player pos is NOT logged (Thank goodness).

still have to log into steam... in my case, i do not even have steam installed on the machine i run my dedicated servers on... the machine has too many important duties for me to risk valve's stability issues in their "steam" client. 

i know its just a pipe dream, but its my pipe dream, dammit!! 

still, thanx for the thought,,, it would be a bit better than the current situation, and it may still come to that.. lol

P.S. mooga, i got the bot thing worked out, and my servers now both cycle their respective maps with or without players... key is to call bots just long enough to get map round started, and then kick them out to free up slots... is working excellently for me...
