I've just started playing Medic more recently, and I was wondering what the forum Medics' opinion was on the option to have the beam sustained without holding the mouse1 button? I've kept it at auto because I felt it would be easier to keep the beam going, but I sometimes feel like it lets go of the beam too easily. Does the manual option allow you to hold the beam for longer distances, or more easily if you're not facing your patient?

I kinda felt that way, at least with the auto-healing option they give us in game... long since given up on the little checkbox in multiplayer options.

Medigun scripts ftw though, that's how auto-healing should be done.

LOL, it's so easy for people to recognize when I'm afk or not because I'll just be needling a wall or thin air.

Yes definitely don't use MY scripts, but there are good/non-fruity auto-medigun ones out there.

I keep it on manual because I have more control and less opportunity for glitching.

Auto, easier for me since my fingers start to hurt pressing down so hard, something I tend to do a lot.
