Awesome Food Places You Wish Others Knew About

I got a few.

New York J&P Pizza - I believe it's a Maryland-exclusive restaurant chain, and it's my absolute favorite.  They pile on the cheese, which is nice and oozy when you first get the pizza, and the sauce is tangy, with no need for oregano or other garnish (blech).  The owner himself went to Italy to study how they made their sauces for a variety of foods.  Unfortunately, the NYJP nearest my house had an oven fire a month back, and they're still rennovating...

Pasta Mista - I think the only Pasta Mista is in Towson.  It's a loooong-ass walk from my college, but it's so worth it when I get there.  Not as much cheese as NYJP, but it's still fucking delicious pizza.

Upper Deck (Formerly Buffalo Wings & Beer) - Variety of grilled delights.  Their onion rings are hand-made and crunchy, which is something I absolutely live for.

Woodbine Inn - Only one in existence, five minutes from my house.  Every summer my dad reserves two dozen crabs for the family.  They're always huge and mouth-watering.  And don't get me started on the steaks.

Katana-Ya - San Francisco/El Cerrito, California.

They've got the best japanese food I've ever had by far.
There's a fairly large and varied selection on their menu too.
Not to mention the fact that even though I eat alot, I've had to take home parts of my meals there a fair bit.

Tallyrand

A diner in Burbank, CA that has been there since the dawn of time. The kitchen is completely run by the family so the cooks are mothers, daughters, grandmas, ect. The best thing on the menu is the Hot Turkey Sandwich. Take a turkey sandwich (real chunks of turkey thanksgiving style, white or dark your choice) cut it in half, in between the halves of the sandwich put a scoop of stuffing and a scoop of mashed potatoes. Then, cover the whole thing in gravy. MmmmmmmmMMMMmmMmMmMmmmmmmm, so good, you can only have one about every two months though,otherwise its just too much awesome.

Fung Shing, a chinese restaurant in the Montréal Chinatown that has more great food than you need at less than 20$ per meal.

I hate pizza places that pile on cheese; it's bland and is horrible for you. (yay grease)

Mcdonalds. Their fake lettuce combined with their microwaved and probably fake meat is delicious. And don't get me started on the 99% salt fries.

Five Guys- I have noticeably gained weight since one opened a half hour from my house. So worth it. All they do is burgers, hot dogs and fries but they do it right. Ive sworn to myself that i wouldnt go there unless with other people but ive found it very difficult to follow this. yeah, its that good
