Axtinguishing a Pyro

You know when you hit the pyro with a flare or a puff from the flamethrower he catches fire for a brief moment before it goes away? In this period is it possible to crit axtinguish him, and if so has anyone done it?

I guess it should be possible if you have one Pyro flaming while another Axtinguishes at the exact same time.

Yes it's possible, and I did it on dustbowl stage 2 in courtyard with a buddy of mine

Its possible but it does take 2 Pyros to do this.  One to have the flames on him the other to axe him.  It can't be done alone as the time it takes to hit him with the flames then switch and swing the flames have gone.  This also doesn't take into account the fact that the pyro won't be staying still.

I did it once, by complete fluke, couldnt even see what I was doing until I hit him, was funny to be able to say I did it

dude, we're gonna have to get 3 pyros together on a server and experiment with this.

You can't do it by yourself, but if another pyro is flaming him then you can get the crit.

Create a server with 29 pyro bots in an achievement server map (achievement_computer or achievement_box would work) and set them all to bot_freakout 1. Pull out the axetinguisher and go to town.
