BUYING A PC

How much money am i going to need to spend to be able to play TF2 on the PC. Im not looking for the best graphics either just decent. I would have to be working from the ground up. I only have a MAC and i do not want to cross platform it at all.

How much do you want to spend?
Do you need a new Screen too?  Mouse?  Keyboard?

Also, why is this in the PS3 section?

I would say you'd only need to spend about $400. Check out PC Gamer Magazine. They have this monthly section where they list 3 different gaming rigs: a budget, a mid-range, and a dream rig. Go for the budget one. But If you've got the cash I'd check out cyberpowerpc.com. I've heard good things bout them.

newegg.com has great selections of PC's. but put this thread in tech support or something so that people will see it more often. this site enables users to disable certain parts of the forums therefore putting it there is a wiser choice. oh make sure dont get integrated graphics card they blow donkey dick. aren't you a mac user? why not hax50R your mac to play tf2

We built a budget gaming PC in the shoutbox for exactly $600.  It was a really nice machine too.

The PC section or the Tech Suport section tends to have a lot of techies there.
I built a top of the line computer for about $1,200.

Well i found my pc on newegg.com it is a cyberpowerpc, which is only 499, but if i get 2 gigs of ram and a new graphics card i will be alright, but the mic power wont work, but yeah anyway super sick.

Don't forget a decent gamer mouse and pad and a headset that doesn't suck -- oh yeah, the monitor should be big and bright so you don't miss the lurking snipers and spies.

If you are going to build, I'd echo Sickcakes recommendation - NewEgg is great.
