Badlands Map Guide

Great guide.  Badlands is one of my favorite maps, not just to play but also to look at.   When I'm waiting to respawn I love watching the battle over control points, especially the spire. 

One thing that needs to be made very clear is that it is so important for everyone to GET TO THE CENTRAL POINT right out of the gate.  Engie's who dawdle around in the base and/or start setting up sentrys covering the spire make it like playing a man down at the beginning of the game.  A Pyro should also making clearing out the shack a priority before trying to help cap the first point.  Any engie who tries to set up in the shack is very vulnerable to a pyro rush which is why building down below (say on the hill beside the shack) is the better way to go for an engie.  You have a much better chance of seeing that pyro before he gets to you.
