Based on DPI what is the "best" sensitivity?

I'm currently using a Logitech G5 running 2000 DPI and 10 sensitivity. Is this too high for Soldier? I find it's really easy to airshot with it but it's starting to feel slow (like 6 and 8 did before I got to 10) should I move up until I find a comfortable sensitivity that doesn't feel slow? Also planning on getting the G9 and upping my DPI to 3200 so would I need to decrease sensitivity?

I'm always upping my sensitivity. I used to use 8...then 8.5...etc untill I've gotten to 14.5

you should decrease sens if you want to solly, demo, scout, snipe, any class other then heavy. (or if youre wonderwall)

Its all dependent on a lot of things:  your out of game- windows sense, whether or not you have mouse acceleration enabled, your dpi, and your in game.

Dont go above the middle notch (6/11) in windows, and i suggest using a high dpi.

I use 3 in windows, 2.0 in game, and 1600 dpi with all mouse accel off.

There is no "best" sensitivity, It's whatever you're comfortable with.  It's also a lot easier to measure sensitivity by distance to do a 360 degree turn ingame.  One big factor is if you move your whole arm or just your wrist.  Some people take 2 feet to turn 360 degrees others turn 360 in 1 inch.

Thing is though, you can get "comfortable" with any setting if you use it long enough. I've seen people tell other people they'd do MUCH better if they lowered their sensitivities. When the said person lowered it, even though he was comfortable with the one he was using he got much better.

You may be "comfortable" with a bad setting, that's what he's getting at.

I've had this question in the past too, just because I "think" I'm doing OK at my sens.. you never know I could be a fiend if I turn it up or down one notch.
