Valve is calling this the "largest update since the product was first made available". It will include optimizations for networking, graphics, player statistics and Source TV (could that be any more vague??).

Also Dustbowl, Granary and CTF_Well will be receiving some tweaks. Perhaps they could tweak CTF_Well to look and play exactly like the old Rock2?!

Oh, and BTW the new Badlands map will be released as well!!

I wonder how this will change gameplay...

I'm not gonna get to play with this update until about 10 PST, and I may be too tired by then to do much besides screw around in Badlands.

Bah, the Show is my Life, and they own me until the end of set strike on Saturday...
