Block Sandman on TF2F Servers

So a plugin has been released recently which allows server ops to block certain weapons from TF2.

So heres the question that I pose to all players of our servers:

Do we want to block the sandman from the TF2F servers?

We can do it just on servers 1 and 4, or 1, 3, and 4, or ...


So far we have followed suit for our LNPugs and have banned the sandman (in the same fashion that CEVO has).

As much as I hate the Sandman, I'm not sure I want it banned from regular public server play. Still, if we had to pick one, I'd say put the ban on Server #1.

i absolutely agree with the removal of the sandman from PUG's.  as for the servers, i think LK has the right idea  - no sandman on server 1, so you have the option of no sandman, but leave it on the rest of the servers, see how it works out over the coming weeks.

readable offical vote:

Server 1:  No Sandman
Servers 2-5: Yes Sandman

I fully expect to see a change by valve regarding the sandman due to what the unlock has caused throughout the whole tf2 community.  I wonder if they expected these types of reactions.

Anyways, I don't mind the sandman. I join a pub to mess around from time to time, and the sandman is exactly that... it's just for fun. Of course since the tf2f servers are more "competitive" pub servers, I could understand why they would be banned from there.

Rofl I feel your pain wernstrum but...I can't help but feel it turns on easy mode for scouts.

Servers 1&4:No Sandman

Just to be clear, my official vote is No ban on any server, much like Wernstrum. However, if the vote ends up where we will be doing it on at least one server, then I vote to only ban on server #1

If we are going to do it, i would do 1 and 4 too. Keep the pro players in check.
