Borderlands out today!

Unless you are an European and get shafted and have to wait till october 30th, borderlands came out today.  I personally paced myself to take in the surroundings and chose the Soldier class.  Your first semi-real fight is that with the man known as 9-toes who also has 3 balls.  The graphics on the game are astonishing.  I use 1440x900 resolution and absolutely love the art, even as cel shaded the realism is there.  The firing is more realistic as you wont be strafing and nailing the bullseye dead on.  As for multiplayer I have yet to give it a try I plan to I just wanted to check out the actual game itself first.  It does seem to have a storyline and a decent one at that.  I find myself easily taken into the world gearbox has presented unlike Fall out 3, where I struggled with the RPG strong elements and lacked patience.  The FPS elements keep the game at a swift pace and rather hard to stop yourself from continuing on to the next mission.  Hope everyone else is enjoying the opening day!! I know there were some that are speaking of having issues with steam.  I had one issue in the beginning but a steam restart resolved this.
