Boxing with the heavy

Is it me, or does the heavy's fists do more damage than the other classes' melee attacks? I was able to destroy a dispenser with just two punches, and I don't think I've been able to do the same with the other classes. I love going boxing with the big guy, rofl.

LOL me and...ummm....arsenal were heavy boxing on Gravelpit today....we actually sucessfully defended and won, with 2 heavys that did nothing but box, i musta got 15 kills, it was hilarious, BLAM! Uppercut the spy in the face.

The Dispenser maybe waent fulkl HEalth.

Haha, yeah, not only the big guy feels good when boxing, but also he looks good and his boxing taunt is supreme. ...but he seriously lacks speed to chase enemies down when they try to stay away from him... so it is more of a situational thing...

I capped an intelligence briefcase yesterday with a heavy, and it was the most hilarious fun ever, it took me like 5 minutes for the big guy to lumber back to the other side. I boxed a few people on the way there too lolol.

One thing I cannot box though is the teleporters. They seem to be too low to the ground for the heavy's fists to reach. It must have looked funny, a heavy trying to reach the ground past his gut.     

The heavy's punches are insanely powerful. One punch is enough to take out a class with low health like the medic, spy and scout
The only drawback is his speed though. By the time you reach a guy running away from you to throw the punch you'd probably have taken 100+ plus damage.

the bonesaw is also a good choise, a little faster

I tried this out last night and it rocked! I got 10 fist kills, against pyros, engys and spys mostly, though i also tooko out a scout.
