My friend wants a motherboard that's compatible with core2duo and a 9800 gt for under $100 IF POSSIBLE. (if it's not possible, link the mobo anyway please.)

newegg is preferable.

thanks.

I don't see why that would be a problem with what he needs

If your budget is $100, there's no reason not to go with something like madrox pointed out.  That said, the first one pointed out still meets what you're asking for, but the one madrox linked would make a great world of difference, especially if you wanna upgrade a bit more, have more slots and it's just simply a better all-around mobo

More slots, more space (9800 will be quite a bit longer than a mATX board I beleive.

Uhh, more Sata ports? Idk you can just compare the specs on there, but if your friend has a case that fits regular ATX then you should go for the larger/better one.

Regular ATX boards are just easier to work with most of the time because they are physically larger and typically have more of the various slots/options.  If you find a micro atx that works, that's fine, though.
