COD:4 or COD:WAW

Well, I was thinking I wanted to get a new FPS to play but I wasn't sure if people still played COD:4 online on the PC a lot. I think I would like it better than WAW though. But anyway, which do you guys suggest. (Also, why do you suggest it?)

I much prefer cod4 in terms of single and multi player atm.

CoD4 by FAR. It is extremely active and has both a dedicated casual fanbase and competitive fanbase. Plus, its a better game... better story, better gameplay, better balance. CoDWaW is basically CoD4 adapted into a different setting and an attempt to throw too many features into the game without bother to playtest.

I hate world war 2 weapons and thats why cod 4 is better

I have played them both on 360, but I am horrible with joysticks and so I didn't like either of them. I think on keyboard and mouse, though, I would enjoy either. But I don't much care for WWII games because they are everywhere. So, I will get Modern Warfare. Thanks for the input.

I just love nazi zombies. It's so much fun but you should get COD 4 because it's still WAY better.

Call of Duty 4 considering World at War did nothing different from 4.

One more question. Does Call of Duty 4 on steam have achievements?

Get neither.  Don't waste your money on garbage.

I've played both titles. Personally, I just don't like CoD

But, when comparing the 2 titles, CoD4 is a lot better
