Class v Class

In the pyro forums someone came up with the idea of class vs. class games and I think that with a bit of work they would be fun. Now obviously the games would be horribly unbalanced for the most part (spy v pyro, pyro v soldier or scout v engie would be slaughters) but if we just did it for fun with no winner and avoided easy win games then there could be some really fun maps (spy vs. medic and pyro vs demoman would be just awesome). In fact, perhaps having a team half one class half another would be cool (heavy/medic would have to be avoided).

I'm not sure about what maps would be used. Maybe Hydro or steamroll. I think that if everyone changed their names so that no one could tell what class they were facing until the round started you could have some interesting results. I would love to hear you guys and girls' suggestions on how we could do this. Maybe like limits on the number of sentry guns and no grouping two classes together who are too good at complimenting each other. I guess that the teams would have to be variable so that everyone could get in on a few games.

there is a 1v1 duel map that is pretty cool that lets you do exactly this; it's pretty nifty.  If you contact me on steam I might be able to show it to you/send it.

we did this in that duel map. I think the team with the most wins was me and Phased with Sniper/HW.

thinking about making a map for this, and getting it on the NOM NOM server....

What kind of map do you need besides a regular duel map?

Maps can't filter by player class, anyways.
