Here's a map of defenstive tactics for Dustbowl playing as the Demoman.

http://tf2wiki.net/w/images/1/18/Demomapdraft2.jpg

Linked from http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Demoman

Still new to the Wiki thing.

Still a work in progress. Note the following:

Purple indicates sticky placement
Green indicates grenade launcher
Purple with white X indicates uber buster
Circles with white centers indicate your general location when firing

Lines that arc are being shot over something
Lines that are straight indicate direct line of fire
Lines that arc one way then another are being shot over one obstruction and under another (example: stage 2 point 2)
Dotted lines indicate movement to carry out two objectives simultaneously.

To test locations of grenades shot over something (where you can't see impact) use the sticky launcher and count a "thousand one". Just about one second of charge. Test for yourself and see what works for you.

These are not every location you should possibly put stickies and shoot 'nades into. Using them at any chokepoint can be effective. These are more along the lines of annoying bastard. Tried and tested techniques for helping your team considerably. Some of these chokes will rack up the kills. Some of them will simply cause blue to hate you and the fire you rain down on them from the sky.

I'll elaborate more later on how these chokes should be held, but for now keep in mind that to barrage a target (example: stage 3 point 2) does not require 4 consecutive grenades followed by reloading all 4. Keep the enemy on their toes. Shoot 1, reload, shoot 1, reload, shoot 3, reload 1, shoot one, reload 2, shoot 2, reload, shoot 4, etc... Don't be afraid to ask an engineer to put a dispenser near you on last caps either.

Lemme know what you think or any suggestions for additions. The offensive map will include pixeling (firing blindly with in game reference points to aim).

This page will be updated if there is a demand for it.

section 3/point 2, I am a terror at the thin hallway choke with the bridge and the sewer entrance near capture 1. I get up there and pop in and out tossing stickies on the wall and lobbing normal nades both over the corner and against the wall so they sit on the ground. Easily my favorite spot for demo domination. It is very tough to take you down since you have almost complete control over who can get close to you and you have 2 health/ammo resupplies in that area. If you are able to sneak through the sewer you can also break a blue choke set up at the last corner by getting up there and killing engies/teleporters. It really hampers an advance if you set up a kill zone in the middle of the map and bust their easy resupply methods.

I didn't include that one but might. Thought it would create too much clutter on the map with the blind fire markers right by it. You're definitely correct about that one, though. You are a TOUGH target when standing on that bridge with stickies at the choke and 'nades raining down.

That is really just a rough draft of what I plan on doing. I'll have a higher resolution map (pulled that one off a japanese wiki) more thoroughly annotated and done by each stage.

yeah, it could be one large oval to delineate the kill zone there since you can cover the whole length of the hallway and a little before the corner. It is amazingly effective for getting multi-kills as well. Dustbowl is by far my favorite map. The enclosed spaces are great for setting traps and a single demoman can cover an entire approach route if they are patient enough.
