Hi im Headcrabbed and Im new here.  I just wanted to share an idea for a demoman sticky grenade variation:
You have a clip of four very powerful grenades (crit strength?)  However,  each grenade has a gyroscope or some computer on it, as well as some sort of spring propulsion device.  When you trigger the grenades, they will launch themselves, fairly accurately, back to where you shot them from, and explode.  Feedback?

I was also thinking it would make some loud noise while it is waiting to be activated.  Any ideas?

Sounds.....Too imbalanced? If a pro demo player can already kill you the moment he sees you, how about robotic stickies that actually follow you?

They wouldn't follow you.  They would launch themselves back to the general area of where you launched them from.

Its hard enough to locate where stickies are before you blow up, but to for example see them 20 feet away and then have them out of no where come flying back at you because of what your variation would allow would be insanely cheap.

That basically means I could throw stickies against any random place doesnt matter where as long as they return to where I am which would be some highly active spot and no one would ever be certain where or when stickies are coming.

Would be fun though, just wayyy to cheap lol

what if they were really weak, with high knockback? They could be an ultimate uber breaker.

Yes but these would be even MORE perfect, because uber pairs could be completely unsuspecting.  plus they would have higher knock back, but less damage.  I dont know.  This probably is a really imbalanced idea.  Cool though, no?

i see that way you could detonated them if u were being followed? or maybe a shock grenade would be really useful. high impact but no damage.
