Demoman sticky = Sniper Jump?

I just had a crazy idea! Can a demomans stickey cuase other classes to "uberjump" also.

For example if a demo places a bomb on the ground toward a hard to reach place and then a class could time a jump right and a demo can time his explosin. would it cuase the other class to 'uberjump' also? Can someone test it out and send me a vid. It would look awesome for a sniper to be on a roof or sometin.

No, it doesn't work that way. Stickybombs only affect enemies and the player who laid the stickies. It'd be pretty annoying if demomen could affect their own teammates in the same way especially when it's completely unwarranted. Über-jumps are pretty awesome, though.

the basic rule is: if it hurts you, it can make you go fly! when FF was on it worked pretty well... .but nevermore....

this might be one of the reasons FF has gone away permanently.

Although, I do remember in TFC being able to get into some pretty clever spots as a sniper.
