Denied entry into TF2F servers (not banned)

ok, everytime I try and join a server today it takes me to the blackboard then i get disconnected with the following messsage

Disconnected: Pure Server: server has downloaded the file [GAME] then it cuts off

This happens to me anytime I'm on another server that has some "special" feature that gets downloaded to my Steam client. When you try to connect to the TF2F server it verifies that your version of TF2 exactly matches what's on the TF2F servers. If it doesn't then you get the message.

It's because you have custom content being sent to the servers and our servers have sv_pure 2 set, so custom content doesn't appear. Turn off your custom skins and shit.
