I'm glad they're adding all this stuff to sweeten the deal, make you feel like you're paying something with the extra money (I didn't think it was worth the full $50). But with $5 off, early access to the demo, an exclusive in-game bat and a hat in TF2? I'd say it's starting to be worth its $45.

I said it made me feel better about buying it. Although I could certainly live without it, I think being within, what, 25% of people who have access to an in-game weapon (of which there are not tons) which functions and looks different than other weapons is kind of cool.

The main reason I pre-ordered this was so I could get it in a pack with L4D 1, and my buddy who's new to fps gaming could get $15 off L4D.
