Does needle boosting still work on the PC version?

I know that it's still slightly on the 360 version cos we hardly get any updates (it's so irritating, just about everyone plays sniper and soldier during setup period on Dustbowl and fires through the fence) but don't know if the PC version still has it. What I mean by slightly is that instead of the person being hit in the back with the needles being pushed forward in midair they are pushed backwards, so in effect are being pulled towards the Medic.

Yeah, it's a real pain..
For every major update, a couple of new exploitable bugs come, only to be patched within 2-4 days.
...but in those 2-4 days, alot of players (maybe 10-20) are banned from our server for using them...
