Dyson: A Free, Minimalist RTS - Really Cool!

I've been playing this game all week.  Once you get the hang of it, there is MUCH fun to be had (and with all RTS games... a bit of frustration thrown in for good measure.)

I thought it got old fast, but it was fun while it lasted.

I just tried it for a bit.

Sloooooooooow game. Finished level five... in two hours forty-six minutes. It's a beautifully made game, but it is one for the very patient.

Yes. I played through the demo months ago and loved it; can't wait to buy it on steam.

It's also an indie game and definitely feels like one.

You know I actually started it off with four asteroids, and then just let it run the last time I played.  We started to dominate, then the enemy launched a huge attack and took more than half the galaxy, but they must have blew their entire army on that and soon after my guys had built enough to launch a counter-attack... and they took 4/5ths of the galaxy back.  Cool shit.

I love games like this.  Like the little slice of fried gold called Darwinia (which is a MUST if you've never played it... it's like Tron, Berzerk, Centipede, and StarCraft all rolled into one.)
