Edit the hints?

Is is possible to edit the hints displayed when a map is loading? I've looked through all the txt, vdf, and dat files, but I didn't locate anything. My guess is that the text is contained within a file that isn't easily edited.

I know they auto-edit to match your settings. I remapped my "call medic" key and the one that tells you how to call a doctor changed to match.

It's just located within the depths of the GCF, using most likely similar to the file that holds your stats (a sort of XML variant)

You can look at/edit your TF2 GCF with something like GCFscape, but that one requires a .NET framework to run...

Why would you want to change them anyway?

By the way, bit of a noob question here, what keys do you press to say, "_______'s a spy!" or the famous, "Need a dispenser here!"

No one suspects when the spy says that the engy that he is disguised as is a spy.

They are located in "Steam\SteamApps\team fortress 2 content.cfg\tf\resource\tf_[language].txt", the [language] is probably english for you . The tips can be found somewhere in this text file .
