Episode 2

I think it's really funny that HL2 is the driving part of the orange box, but I haven't bothered to beat it.

It's not like I don't have the time either. I've spent 50 hours playing steam games in the past 2 weeks. 40 on TF2, an hour on portal, 3 on CSS. I beat portal the day it came out.

Has anyone else not beaten epi2 yet?

I try to think about the reasons why, and I can only think of 1.
I am too addicted to TF2 .


edit: wow sorry this thread is so poorly titled (forum pet peeve). It should be "Have you beaten Episode 2?".

I played (and beat) portal the first day it became available and quickly burned my way through episode 2 the next day. I've played it through three times since.

Team Fortress ruled my life during the beta but I have since run out of time to enjoy it. I would advise trying episode 2 for an hour at least to give it the chance I think it so richly deserves.

Got through portal in a day.
wanted to get them both out of the way cause I knew Tf2 would pretty much take up all my time, and it has lol.
i would still suggest playing through episode 2. Great game and story.

i finally got it to work, its the best part of hl2 so far!

 I,ve beaten Hl2 EP 2 3 times so far. It should only take an average of 6-7 hours. It defintley the best Half Life 2 installment yet, but not only that its the BEST SINGLE PLAYER GAME OF THE YEAR. Play it man, and beat it.

I got through Portal in two days and then played Episode One for a bit. I haven't played any of those games since I discovered TF2.

I FINALLY finished HL2 a couple days ago. I mostly got the OB for TF2, so ended up getting hung up on it. It took an act of willpower to even install Portal after a week or so, haha. Portal and HL2 were really good, but I'm waiting a bit until I get a new box before running through EP 1 & 2. I have to turn most everything down a lot as it is, and I heard the EPs take a little more horsepower so I'd rather wait and see 'em in all their glory.

Man, it's a good thing they sold OB with all the games in one pack, or not portal and ep2 would be shunned aside like unloved children.

To be honest, that game is scary o.o especially at night when I usually play.
