Episode 2 discussion (Spoilers)

Alyx just sniped me.  Damn you The Alyx Vance!  Not part of the story, just a weird accident that happened.

The achievements in this seem pretty cool, but I'm not looking at them.  I've had a few pop up that I got them, but I'd rather not spoil more of the story by checking them before I get to those parts.

Magnusson is a dick.

Just finished it.  Fantastic final battle, fantastic ending.  The final battle wasn't as hard as I hoped, but trying to do it and unlock an achievement could prove to be very hard.  I can't wait for episode 3.

The ending was delicous. I want more... NOW! Hate waiting. I have to agree Magnusson is a dick.
I found the final fighting very nerve racking (especially on hard.) Portals connection to the Half-Life universe was also excellent.

Well, I certainly wasn't it expecting to end where it did. I expected more...seemed a bit short, not that I'm complaining.

Well done, Valve. Can't wait to see what's in store for Episode 3.

I hope HL2ep3 is the final one. i want a conclusion! I want to know if the G-Man works for the government, or maybe aperture... do the combine want to start another "black mesa" (the incident, not the institution) with the borealis... from the borealis incident and the fact that aperture build it, you can already tell there IS portal technology on board. also, the fact that the ship disappeared in the docks... with a part of the docks, is an undeniable fact... I want to destroy the combine, and the advisors... and everyone threatening earth in an epic showdown! MAKE EP3 A GAME WE WILL NEVER FORGET!

....the cake is no lie at all... that's what actually made me laugh at the end...
..but no more cake! I destroyed the cake-module of that computer overlord (listen to the blue mech eye talking when picked up)
I doodledrew a nice picture of a desperate man in one of those breaches in the aperture lab... he started marking his run-throughs by cutting numbers on his body... quite nice expression...

I find it odd that they added an Orange Box section to the forums with just Portal. Episode 2 should definitely be in there, maybe HL2, Lost Coast, and Episode 1. and maybe even Peggle Extreme. o_o

Anyway...I've gotten to the point where you get the car [Kinda stuck, but mostly I was just going to bed because it was late].

I've gotten quite a few achievements, just out of curiosity and luck [but why would the Acid Antlion be an achievement? There's like forty of them, and they do NOT leave you alone]

I really like the intro to this one....they should have included that in Episode One with a recap of HL2 [Maybe even Lost Coast]. I liked the two huge-scale Antlion fights [In the caves and out in the field]...I thought it was totally funny when, in the cave, the three lights lit up the first time on the one station, and I was scared as hell when the three lights lit up on all the stations after that.

It's going MUCH better than Episode One so far, I think.

The painted sentries in that cave fight ruled.

I liked the hopper mine things...they have the HL2 logo on the bottom.

yeah, those were cool too.  Just a damn good game.
