Expert Help

I need some help on deciding whether to buy some more RAM (I have 510mb, I know, harhar l2computer) or to just buy a new computer. Right now I would be buying DDR and as far as I know have not used any slots on motherboard.

The point of this is being to run games faster, or at all. So if anybody needs all my specs I will post them. The weird thing is, is my ping and FPS are all normal. I will hop on TF2 in a second and post them, while just standing in spawn.

First of all, this should be in the Technical Support forum so that all those that understand this can see it.

I use to run at 512 mb. I just upgraded to 2GB. Huge difference imo.

No more lag spikes, no more lag at the beginning of rounds, when alt-tabbing or closing TF2 it doesn't take around 5 minutes.

But yeah Fanlaen, thats exactly whats happening, alt tabbing, don't even think about it. And lag at the begging of each round. I'm just wondering if it would be better with my crappy computer to upgrade with DDR RAM instead of getting a new machine.

I'd say it depends on what you plan on doing in the future. I'm pleased with upgrading only my RAM because I doubt I'm going to be buying any of the newer games.

I suggest making a post in Technical Support with your specs & What you want out of your PC.

I need expert help "loan" me some money for a sound card i just borrowed bioshock and i cant play it cause i dont have a stupid sound card. Lol jk
