Our family celebrated Christmas on Saturday this year due to work and travel schedules, so with some gifted cash along with some Bestbuy gift cards i've been holding onto, I went out on Christmas Eve and picked myself up a 360 Elite and a 12 month Live Gold membership.

I've only got the two games that came with it atm (Forza Motorsport 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance), but I'm looking to build up my friends list for when I start picking up more games.

Ha! I hosted the family Christmas this year, so I haven't played much TF2 at all these past few weeks...I'm hoping that'll change now that it's all over, but Ultimate Alliance IS awfully addictive...

about Rock Band, am I correct in assuming the $170 set only comes with one guitar, when you need two to play with all four people (guitar, bass, drums, vocals)?

Feel free to send me a friend's invite, gamertags right by the avatar. I'm away from the 360 for a couple of weeks so it'll take me a while to accept the invite. Make sure you get gears of war and rainbow 6 vegas, or at least the new vegas when it comes out next year.

Rock band comes with everything, but from what I've heard the guitars are prone to breaking, but the guitar hero one's work. I am pretty sure the xbox live mic works for vocals, so you can pick the game up for 60 bucks and if you have gh3 and a mic you're all set except for the drums.

Edit: check out this site if you want to get some free games, my roommate got gh 2 and 3 with guitars as well as assassin's creed and all he did was fill out some offers. Just be sure that you cancel the offers before they charge you.

PS: Halo and Call of Duty 4 are most definitely not better than Team Fortress 2.
