FOV question.

Hey guy, I was wondering if there's a console command to change your FOV in tf2 without having to go into the options menu (without resorting to sv_cheats of course).
And if there is one, could somebody whip up a script so that whenever I hold down "shift" my fov becomes 70 (or whatever the minimum is), and when I let go it goes back to max?

The console command is fov_desired #, but I'm not sure about the script

90 is just better. i can't think of a reason to use 70 fov.

I've heard Saber07 snipes with 70 FoV, and I'm pretty sure he's better than everyone posting in this thread. So maybe don't be so quick to ridicule.

Some players (Sabre_07 being the most notable from what I've heard) use fov_70 for sniper. Don't knock it till you try it.

some quake players use different fov for different weapons.  after all, higher fov = harder to hit farther targets
