FaN-Tastic

FaN scouts. Little rats that run around with a gun that fires pure obnoxiousness. I don't get this weapon.

It's like the sandman, just a little less worse. It's fun to attack with, frustrating as hell to be hit with, by both stopping your momentum completely.

The FaN isn't banned in any decent league the Sandman is.
The FaN isn't (apparently) used by any competitive scout (I don't keep up with the leagues)

Is the FaN overpowered? Is it balanced but just irritating to face? When I'm up against a FaN scout as a scatter one, even with semi-decent aim I always lose. My aim isn't perfect, but neither is it totally shite, but my momentum is just halted, opening up an easy second shot and down I go.

BAH.

Playing as a scout versus a FaN scout is hell. Absolute hell. If he hits you with the first shot it's more than likely he'll hit you with the second. It also sends soldiers to the moon as I'm one of the ones that tends to jump up and down while firing...

In all, it's just fucking annoying, it's not OP. Still, the recent buff has made it so as a scout I will rage any time I die to a FaN scout. It's just annoying as fuck cause he doesn't actually have to be that good.

I'd still use the scattergun any day

From my experiences it basically means you always win scout fights but you're worse at everything else.

LOL you guys obviously didn't see the 20ID v EG match. Their FaN scouts RAPED EG's scatter scouts

FaN can destroy a scatter gun if used correctly, it completely interrupts any kind of maneuver that the enemy scout could do
