First map Cp_Pit

Project I've been working on for a few days now. 





Features:

-Symmetrical 3 Point map
 -The Pit
  -A large cavern where the middle point lies
   -Tunnels from either side of the map enter into the pit
   -Capture Point elevated on a deck
   -Bridges on either side of the pit for ground paths
 -Red/Blue Spawn
   -Capture pit is open easy entry
   -Upper deck for defense and attacking
   -Bridge that goes from the large pit building to the deck
-Red/Blue Spawn Building
 -Resupply/respawn room
 -Ramp up to the deck(over capture point)
 -Ammo/health on ramp side of deck
 -Bridge to the pit building
 -Metal wall around the deck for cover with openings
-Red/Blue Sniper Tower
 -Elevated for better line of sight
 -Los Party blocked by pit building and various objects to prevent sniper domination
 -Health/ammo (medium) in lower part
 -health/ammo (small on top level)
 -step out platform/entrance on side
 -ramp to the top/side platform
 -cover ontop of the tower for snipers
 -Window for another sniping spot
 -Shack leading to cliff lookout
  -Best spot for pit defense as sniper(full los of the pit)
-Red/Blue Pit building
 -Health ammo
 -ramp goes through the building to the only exit to the spawn(on the bridge)
  -works as a choke point of sorts
 -Windows for shooting out of to attack the pit
 -Two entrances from pit
-Red/blue Shack
 -health/ammo
 -ramp down the the pit tunnel
-The pit building and shack act as another choke point has rocks/barrels/trees for cover up to the sniper tower/open area before spawn capture point

Side notes:
From what i've played around with there are a lot of cool things to jump around on in the map as a scout.  And all of the roofs are accessible so rocket/pipe jumps are great.  However snipers should pick anyone off of the roofs that rocket jumps up.  Lots of other cool jumps to do around the level I've had a lot of fun with it.

Need help with!
How to make no build areas?  So engineers can't build sentries in trees!
How to get the pink haze off of the water/purple glow off of capture points

Plans:
Adding small details to buildings
Adding props to the spawn room to make it more interesting
adding grass props around the level
Fixing cliff textures
Possibly adding cliff on both ends instead of walls
Cleaning up the level/optimizing for preformance

As for getting the pink haze away all you need to do is add cubemaps. Just go into the entities tool and you will find them in the scroll down box. They need to be placed around the eye level of the players. This makes the water and shiny objects reflect. However, once you get your cubemaps placed you are not finished. After you place you cubemaps, run your map. Once it is loaded type "build cubemaps" into the console and restart the level. This will fix your problem.

Nice map by the way. Very impressive!

Looks nice, and as Atomic said, you need to add and build cubemaps.

Also, the name should be all lowercase letters.  Please read this thread: http://www.teamfortress2fort.com/forums/t/StandardNamingConvention-16629.aspx

nobuilds are easy just use the trigger texture and tie it to a func_nobuild entity.

Update:
Renamed cp_pit_a1
Added cube maps
Fixed cliff textures
added a displacement for the bottom of the pit
raised ground around the rocks in the pit for optimal sentry placement(they couldn't aim above water before)
Added "trunks" to the trees to prevent sentry greifing
Changed sun angle/placement/shadow detail

I may make a short video of the map to show some fun things

And is anyone willing to play test this map? or put it up on their server so I can get some feedback?
