I'd love to join the community! I'm new to TF2, but not to FPS's, and really enjoyed myself last night with a lot of the guys here from both squads.
I'm flexible in class, and like to play scout, but go medic a lot of the time if our team needs it. I'm not expecting a ton of vouches as i'm real new here, but I thought i'd put up the thread just so you knew I was interested.
EDIT: Oh yeah, forgot to mention i'll be on vent more just as soon as I pick up that mic. I'll probably be on, but just listen for the time being.

I definitely see a lot of potential, you're getting there mate. Try your best to be competent with multiple classes, especially ones which different tactical roles. (Like Scout & Heavy which you already do well). Once you can think on your feet and aim at the right spots you'll be great { } material.

Just be sure to be vocal with your team, or getting accustomed to it. It's very necessary in competitive play.

Im saying yeah, on certain conditions. I like the way you play, and when Ive talked to you, I liked it, SO USE THAT HEADSET MORE SON! We dont just want to know you better, we NEED to if you want to play with us. Im confident this shyness wont be a problem though. SO VOUCH.

Thanks Guys. Yeah, i'm working on both of the points you mentioned. I'm getting more used to talking, as i'm getting a better grip on everyone's gameplay style and just knowing everyone in general. I can put a voice to a name in vent now, and I used to have no idea, so I should be chatting it up more. As for becoming more well rounded, I've been working on that too. I've focused lately on spreading my classes around, trying to learn sniper, how to gunhump or attack as an engy (not to mention finding sneaky locations), and how to use my ubercharge wisely, since that's not something i'm terrific at.

Thats all good stuff, Its smart to work a good bit with each class, from there, no matter what you choose, you have a good idea of the intricacies (I hope I spelled that right) of the game through all the classes individual traits.

Considering I don't know where else to put it, do you vent regulars think i've been doing a better job of being vocal? I'm intentionally trying to be, and even though i can still be rather quiet at times, i'm trying to get out there so you guys get to know me and how I play. If i'm not, go ahead and feel free to give me constructive criticism.

Yeah, this is sometimes just a slow process, dont be afraid if you are friends with a member who hasnt vouched for you that you have submitted an application. I wish I could vouch twice for ya mate!
