Hi. I am shaocloud, as you might already know by seeing my name over there.
Before I got TF2 (a full 6 days ago, I might add), I have been watching the "Meet the Team" videos, gameplay videos and many others with great envy.
I even discussed it with my friend, and his vivid descriptions of the wonderful game left me feeling really empty inside.
By the way, I only have one friend who plays TF2.
This is not because I have a severe lack of friends. This is because I am ASIAN.
That's right. However, I reign from the demo-dictatorship that is Singapore, so we play slightly more games than the countries that surround us, although not as much as Americans.
Hope that's not too much of a "problem" for you guys, although playing on the TF2F servers would give me a ping of 400+.
One day, I grabbed a load of money (S$29.90) and stuffed it in my pockets, and raced down the street to a video game shop.
I stuck a copy of TF2 under the cashier's nose, and before I knew it, I had a gold bar of gaming goodness in my hands.
Reaching home, I immediately got the game out, installed it, and started.
Then I noticed. I SUCK AT THIS.
However, playing for a few days straight, I got better at this, and before long, I was owning the Singaporean Arena server as Pyro.
But the Pyro kinda makes me feel shortchanged, maybe because everyone calls it the "noob class". Never mind.
Some random things about me:
Once I was being brash with a Demo, so I charged towards a Soldier, dodged his rockets, jumped on him and killed him with my Bottle O' Scrumpy.
I have too many stupid deaths to name, and I am such a noob that if I manage to kill someone, I will immediately taunt, resulting in him getting "Dance Dance Immolation".
Which reminds me, causing someone else to get an achievement makes me feel terrible.
I have a gift for spychecking. Then I always lose him, and he backstabs me.
I am hopeless with a spy. I cloaked, ran into a BLU base, and backstabbed an engie in the middle of a whole group of BLUs.
When playing as Soldier, I always ignore my health when rocket jumping. Ugh.
I hope to be friends with you guys. You guys sound really awesome to be with.
So. I am shaocloud.
