Help with Sniper/General Scripting questions

as i finalyl try to round out my sniper config, I have two quick questions:

1. I know how to bind a button to chat/teamchat, and i had one bound to "==ENEMY MEDIC DEAD==" However, i saw this guy who had somethign similar, accept it seemed to be triggered by the enemy medic actually dying (he didn't have to hit a button). I was wondering if this was possible (or he was just really fast).

2. Is there a command i can use to have it switch from default crosshairs to corsshair 5 (dot). Without having to go to the menu>options>multiplayer.

For #2, i downloaded the competitive.cfg, however i was unable to get the crosshairs for the classes to the default valve ones (if somone has a fix for that that would be great too).

also, first one seems impossible, second is possible, as others said probably somewhere in these forums. I don't see why you wouldnt use crosshair 5 for everything though, I do (I was hesitant to use that for rocket launcher but I got used to it)
