How do I get in?

I have applied on several occasions to get into { }, always by following the guidelines set by Voss.  I'm active on both the servers as well as the forums and still nothing.  I'm not very active in vent and that is probably what is killing me.  I don't want to sound like a jerk and complain about every thing, but what am I doing wrong?

People have to get to know you and I have a feeling several people will post and say you need to get in vent.

... Yup. People only really get to know you when we chat together in Vent. I'm not sure if you're on when I'm usually playing - if I could remember, I'd comment some more.

I dunno, I am on vent, plenty on the servers, and in the SB.  But nothing so far.

Well i guess I better start using vent more than I do.

To put things in perspective, according to HLStats there are 68 members of the squigglies with more playtime on our servers than you. There are only 8 who have less, and I'm pretty sure several of them are inactive.

Playtime isn't a "requirement" per se, but it's hard to get to know you if we don't play with you that often. Your stat page indicates that you've played pretty consistently over the last several months, but I think what happens is you're just getting overlooked because of all the nerds with no lives who play so much on our servers

That said, I definitely remember you as someone who's been around the servers for awhile, and I even seem to think you're a pretty decent guy, but I don't really ever remember talking to you. I'm sure there are other members of the community clan who feel the same way. It looks like you're a busy guy, but I don't know what else to say besides be on vent and the servers a little more...sorry man :/

You don't need to appologize.  I mean this isn't the first clan I have applied to.  I tried to join a CS:S clan and nothing there.  I'm used to it, but I would love to be a clannie.  I'll start being on vent more and I'm also gonna get a better graphic card and processor so that I can play the game better (right now my fps is somewhere around 3) and maybe that will alow me to do better and stick out a little more.  But starting to night, I'm gonna be on vent and hopefully I can stick with that.  I'll also try and be active in more pugs.  Hopefully one day i will get squigglies.
