How to fix Dead Ringer

Valve, in their infinite wisdom have now nerfed the Dead Ringer. Once you use it, all cloak will be used up, and you are forced to wait 30 seconds to recharge. The weapon all ready had a lot of things going against it; no control over cloak, incredibly loud decloak noise that makes it all but impossible to get the drop on a close enemy, and a very short cloak time. I used it as a Pyro shield, and now I'm being forced to drop it. Valve obviously did not consider there being more than 1 Pyro camping a point.

This is obviously a fuck up on their part, and it probably will be buffed in some way (like Natasha was). So, what are your suggestion to make this weapon more effective?

I'd like to see either:

A: More cloak time, 10 seconds would be perfect and would not be overpowered. Being forced to infiltrate without the use of cloak is extremely difficult on most maps, so I feel this would help quite a bit.

B: Get rid of loud decloak noise. Most maps are very tight and offer little wiggle room, moreso if there's Engie/Pyro spam. To be able to safely decloak is an act of luck with the current decloak noise.

C: Recharge cloak time with ammo.

Considering the time nerf I think it would be fair to let ammo recharge the cloak. The reason they nerfed it was to stop people creating a pile of corpses and abusing the damage reduction (you can survive a taunt kill and a sniper headshot for crying out loud) but if you had to reply on ammo then that would be much harder, basicially limiting it to having to stand next to a dispenser....

They WOULD have to make it so that you cant just use your fake deaths ammo(if you do actually drop a weapon on death, haven't really checked)

The Dead Ringer could use a few tweaks, yes, but Valve, in their infinite wisdom, will not change it again and leave it dead and useless against all but the most stupid or new opponents.

In regard to tweaks I would have liked, a lower decloaking sound and a much longer (~10-12 seconds) cloak time would have been nice. To sort the shielding issue, which was never really as huge problem, a one second cooldown as soon as cloak regenerated would have stopped spies in their tracks.

Still, luckily I got to mess around with it before it was reduced to the level of the Razorback.

I used dead ringer today, two times, then I perm deleted it.

It needs some serious changes because now it's worse than Razorback, YES, WORSE THAN RAZORBACK!

I didn't even get to use the Dead Ringer because of the dam drop system. Now it's crap?

I always thought the solution was to get rid of the damage reduction, rather than cause the entire cloak to drain.

I also always thought it should've been able to charge through ammo from the start.

fix this please was so fun at least take off the noise although it wont be called dead RINGER anymore who cares valve is awsum but they will not change this or the razorback and they will die along with bonk (who uses that anymore)
