I simply wonder how you can get lower mouse sens than 1.0 in TF2.
When I try to change it to something lower from the ingame options I get an error message.

I guess there are some command I can put in my Autoexec file ?

Why would you want to have a mouse sensitivity lower than one?

Well, I'm trying to play in a very high resolution with a high DPI on the mouse.
Even 1.0 feels too fast.

Then turn the mouse DPI down or turn the windows speed down.

Yeah, I thought about this when I saw the new Logitech mouse.. with mouse resolutions getting higher, gamers are gonna want to put their sensitivities lower and lower, but what Midgetmunky suggests would sort of work.

Mice driver software have profiles and I know Logitech's software has per-app profiles which you can tell  to use different binds and settings depending on the game or program.

I had this problem before.
Just put "sensitivity 0.xx" in the console (or autoexec). Also, the sensitivity that shows up in the ingame options does not show your sensitivity in hundredths. Typing just "sensitivity" in the console will let you know what you're using. Also, I would keep windows pointer speed at 6/11.

I asked this because he could have had some other setting out of wack that he could fix that would allow the right overall sensitivity and the in game to be at a normal number.

I believe that half [or 6/11] in Windows mouse settings should represent normal speed ... so if you have your mouse @ 1200dpi that's what it will be. You want it like this so your dpi is accurate at the desktop level. You want to keep this consistent so you can have your preferred sensitivity and dpi resolution when using anything that's not a game...

Then increase/decrease in game sensitivity to what's comfortable.

TF2's sensitivity range is as follows:

min:                0.000100
max:    10000000.000000
