I Beat the Advanced Chambers!!! (and I don't have the achievement...)

As the title says I beat all the advanced chambers on portal,and the achievement won't register. It even says 6/6 but it's locked

Anyone else having this problem?

And since no one else on my friends list on either steam or xfire has managed to beat it, I'll give advice if you need it,jsut ask ehre or add reaper933 to steam and/or xfire.

That's quite odd. I've only done 4 so far [I'm extremely lost on the one with the turrets].

Hint to Turret Level:
Using boxes will stop bullets from hitting you,and piling up 2 in front of a turret will stop them from hitting you in the direction the boxes are stacked. Also jumping on top or behind the middle point(maybe a little bit over the mid point,but be careful) of turrets will allow you to pass undetected.

Yeah..first 3 and the 5th one are easy,the turret is a bit harder..almost got it on my second try though...and the last one takes some thinking and observing..it's where most people get stuck from what I've seen.

Yeah, I just did the 5th one and started the last one but couldn't get past the second platform.

The turrets- I knew about the boxes, but I still can't figure it out. I can get to the box room and kinda teleport my way to that last room, but I always get torn to bits trying to set up defense boxes. =/

Walkthrough of Turret Level
Ok, first off you'll want to block the turret in front of the door on the right. Do with safely by shooting a portal overtop of it and dropping the boxes infront of it from the top of the cage. Once he is mostly safe from harm,start with the turret room(warning,may take a few tries). Crouch walk until you can drop a box in front of the closest turret,but be quick since as soon as you come within dropping range the turret will detect you. Once he is blocked from the front, shoot a portal on the X above the one clooset to the door. Fall on top of him and drop a box,quickly running back(this guy is the hardest).BLock bullets from the other turret using the box until you drop it. Finally,portal atop the last turret and drop boxes in front of him,and use the last box to open the door. Shoot a portal to the wall insde the room,and quickly portal over the fence and behind or ontop of the turret in that room. Proceed to exit staying out of the final turrets veiw.

Well, that was nothing new. I guess I was just doing it wrong... that one by the door was always the one to make me eat it.

Yeah, I can't get past the final level.  I can't get further than the rusty side room with a staircase.  Am I supposed to do something in there?

Just pick up a spare block (hopefully you should have one leftover), and walk with it as a shield to enter that last room with the turret. I dropped 2 blocks in front of each turret through the ceiling, and had one leftover for the button, as well as another for a shield.

Isn't the ceiling all blocked off?

@Big L - I got to the ledge just after that... didn't have to use the side room at all. But I can't get past that, so maybe, I dunno.

lol here's a hint for chamber 18,you never touch platform 3.

And as i said xylo..it takes a few tries..
