I like talking about music.

So can we get a music subforum? I know theres alot of music topics in the general chat forum so i was wondering if a music subforum is possible.

Second that. I was thinking about that kind of thing the other day. Don't have much leverage as a bit of a newcomer around here, so I didn' bother.

More on topic, I think this is an amazing idea, as I've seen quite a few musicians and music lovers on this site, and I feel there would be an avid amount of activity in this sub forum.

It would however (something more for Admin-type participants to consider) require a bit of upkeep, and organisation when it comes to genres, intsruments, artists etc. As an previously active member of a couple of music and musician forms I can speak from experience when I say that things can easily get confusing and out of hand when someone wants to argue something like "What is punk?" in a pop thread. On the other hand, this community has been one of the most well kept and dignified I've seen in my internet days, so these problems are merely just reflections of past experiences with much less organized and responsible communities.
