I'm a flaregun convert

I've thought very little of the flaregun since the pyro update came out.

After a couple of nights playing with flaregun instead of shotgun, I have to say I'm a total convert. This weapon is just lovely. It's much easier to hit with than you'd think, and I'm even liking the slight arc of the flare.

So often, there's a Heavy, a Soldier, a Scout, a Sniper, sitting somewhere that you just can't touch them. But just pop a flare in their direction, and you're golden.

Or you're coming up to a corner - lob a flare at the apex of the corner as you approach, then switch to axe, then flamer as you come round. You're totally prepared for anything which might happen.

So far, I've had the most success with it on Badlands, but it's badass on every map!

This is exactly what happened to me, i used to use the shotgun instead of the axtinguisher, then one day I used flare and havent looked back, and have generally done about 3x better

I remember a practise on gravelpit I went flare pyro and managed to piss of their entire team...

I love the flaregun. I use it everytime I play pyro..no matter what the situation

Yes, join the cult of the Flare, we who will mold this world with fire and flames.  As long as there's no ubers to stop us.

Ubers stopping us? We stop ubers. That's our job.

I tried to use the flaregun right after earning it.  Couldn't get it to hit anyone, felt the reload took to long.  Went back to shotgun after 3 days.

It is endlessly amusing to piss off snipers with.

 I find it hilarious to go into the enemy base, hit someone with a flare, then camp the hp pack spawns with you axtinguisher. They never expect it!
