I plan on investing into a small TF2 server, but want to know if GameServers  would be recommended

Perhaps I could get some feedback from someone who has used their services before

I really LOVE my 16 player server, but sadly no one ever comes on to play unless I get people excited about a singular event night (like Map Testing Night.)

4.79.145.117:27015

If you want, I'll just give you admin flags on Fragimus Maximus and see if you can get anyone on there regularly before investing the money yourself.

So far i've thrown about $300 at the server and we've played about 12 times on it.  This is common (lack of traffic) until you rget favorited by lots of people.  Most players looking to get their own servers don't realize that it doesn't come packed with players... and hardly anyone will play unless you get people from different timezones to help admin.

Actually, I wasn't interested in a public server. I planned on getting a 14man private server for scrims, but I'm new to the competitive seen (does our team even need our own server?)|

1 word...no

our clan had one and it was a chunk of crap. they overload their boxes and have shitty customer support. cheap but you get what you pay for.

trust me spend a bit more and get a quality server...trust me its better for you to save your money than going to gameservers

I run GS for our 16man UT3 server. no real complaints. A lot of people seem adverse to GS tho. I'm not sure why from my experience.

I had a short run in with GS and cannot complain.  If I needed a small server and wasn't too serious about it, I would go back to them.

I think GS is good if you dont expect much.

Servers work gud enough and for 20 bucks why would you complain.

But when you are looking for high performance and insane quality/speed in customer service i dunno if you want GS.

For like a map test server or whatever with 16 slots, you should just go with GS.  It's like $13/month.
