Is it just me?

Is it just me or does it seem like it's hard and harder to find a game that doesn't lose connection to the host. At first I just thought it was my internet connection, but I went to a friends house and played on his xbox (he uses cable I use DSL) and I had the same problem. I went to another friends house and the same thing happened.
Is it just my friends and I? or does anyone else notice this?
**I must point out though, that not all games are like this, but I would say about half that I play end up lagging out.

I wouldn't say it's getting harder. It's always been a pain,

for xbox live, you are at the mercy of the person's connection who started the live session, since it is hosting locally on that xbox.  if microsoft had dedicated servers, this would not be a problem.

Have to agree with paragonalley, if Microsft had better servers, we wouldn't keep getting lost from games. Because I've had that lately, losing connection randomly from a game. They do this on Gears of War too, the servers blow since I guess Microsoft doesn't care? So people get lost and kicked from servers a lot.

But that's what I see.

much worse on 360 than ps3 here. 50% or more on 360, 10% of the time on ps3. I got 360 version  6 months ago thinking there would be catch up updates to match PC. so far nothing.
